Categories[]
On Sporcle, quizzes are split down into fifteen categories. Each category is managed by an editor, a Sporcle user that volunteers their time and effort to highlight quizzes that are well-made, support quizmakers, and generally make Sporcle a better place. Within each category, there are many subcategories, so quizzes can be further classified. Subcategories are determined by quizzes' tags (which can be edited by the maker, curators and editors), and quizzes can fall within many of them, whereas quizzes can only be inside one category.
